The enhanced 4" Steer Stop Outboard Hydraulic Steering Lock is now easier to install and remove due to its updated grip, which saves you effort and reduces wear and tear on your hands.
The 4" Steer Stop comes as a set (for each side of the steering rod) to keep an outboard motor equipped with hydraulic steering centered, preventing it from wandering when trailering. Like the original Steer Stop, the units clip onto the hydraulic steering rams on either side of the outboard to keep the engine straight and prevent damage to the motor supports. The attached cord keeps the units together when stowed and helps with removal, making it a convenient and reliable choice for all boaters.
