Captain Kurt has been an avid fly fisherman since he was 13 years old. He caught his first Lake Erie Steelhead 25 years ago and has now made Steelhead Alley his home. He is a full time fly fishing guide, Lake Erie charter captain, and lodge owner. He loves sharing his passion of fly fishing with others and pursuing fish with a fly rod all over the world.
