Tim Hyvonen grew up fishing with his father and caught his first brown trout out of the Root River in Racine, WI when he was 5-years old. From that point forward, he was hooked! Upon finishing his career with the U.S. Coast Guard in December of 2009, he started WIFinlander Guide Service with fly fishing for spring steelhead as his area of expertise. Since then, Tim has obtained his captain's license and started running charters on Lake Michigan. When he's not running trips, Tim competes in various salmon tournaments and also competes on the ice with the NAIFC. Tim is a true multi-species angler!
